Cyrus Centre is excited to announce we will be expanding to Alberta this winter!

As of November 1, Cyrus Centre will operate five warming centres in Parkland County. Three of these are located in the Township of Stony Plain and two are located in the City of Spruce Grove.

The warming centres are activated between November 1st and March 31st, when the temperature threshold is met; currently a temperature of – 20c is required including windchill, they operate from 10 am – 4pm.

Services offered are; warm safe space, lunch, snacks, coffee, basic essentials such as socks, gloves, toiletries, and transportation.

Other services include advocacy, referrals, community connections .

Space has been generously provided by five area churches, that will be staffed with one staff and additional volunteers.
