Volunteer at Cyrus Centre: Make an Impact

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Cyrus Centre Ministries. As part of our volunteer application process, we ask all volunteer applicants to complete a questionnaire to help us better understand how your values and experience align with our mission of serving vulnerable youth in a faith-based environment.

Cyrus Centre is a Christian organization that integrates faith into our daily work with youth. Volunteers are an important part of our team and are expected to respect and support this aspect of our mission.

While volunteers are not required to sign a Statement of faith, it is essential that anyone serving with us is comfortable in a Christian ministry setting and able to reflect the kind of love we aim to live out daily—compassionate, non-discriminatory, servant-hearted, and rooted in hope. This is central to who we are, and we ask every volunteer to uphold it from the start

The Impact You Make

We rely on volunteers to keep our doors open. In fact, some nights, having enough volunteers is the difference between being able to welcome youth inside or turning them away. Your presence doesn’t just help with tasks, it helps create a safe, stable, and caring place for young people who often don’t have one. We know life happens, and things come up. But what makes our most impactful volunteers stand out is their reliability, flexibility, and strong sense of purpose.

What It Takes

• You MUST be 19+
• A heart for youth.
• A commitment to showing up when you say you will.
• A willingness to listen with compassion and hold healthy boundaries.
